Terms of Use

The terms that govern access to and use of the RealEstAi platform.

Last updated 28 September 2026. Questions: contactus@realestai.ca.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the RealEstAi platform and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The platform is operated by RealEstAi Inc., an Alberta corporation with its office at #1207, 3730 108 Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta T3N 1V9 (“RealEstAi”, “we”, “us”). RealEstAi Inc. is the party you contract with. Where your firm has signed a separate services agreement with us, that agreement governs and prevails over these terms.

1. The service

RealEstAi is software that helps Alberta law firms manage conveyancing files. It is a tool for legal professionals and does not provide legal advice; the lawyer remains responsible for the file.

2. Accounts

Access to the platform is authenticated by email and password. A second factor is required for administrator accounts: a single-use code sent to the account’s email address at sign-in. No setup or authenticator app is required. Accounts are locked after repeated failed sign-in attempts. You are responsible for your account credentials, for the strength and confidentiality of your password, for the security of the mailbox that receives your sign-in codes, and for all activity under your account.

3. Professional responsibility

AI-assisted features (including document parsing and confidence scores) are aids for your review, not substitutes for professional judgment. You remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to breach or probe its security, interfere with other firms' use of it, or use it unlawfully.

5. Fees

You can create an account and explore the platform before committing to a paid plan. Plan pricing, billing terms, and cancellation will be set out in your order or subscription agreement.

6. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided on an “as is” basis. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in your firm's services agreement with us. Where no services agreement is in place, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by your firm in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
